Winter Walk #9 – Sippo Lake (Hosted by Paula and Tim Lavey)
Our Winter Hike #9 will be hosted by Paula and Tim Lavey at Sippo Lake! We’ll meet at Exploration Gateway, 5712 12th Street NW, Canton, OH 44708. Dinner will be at Bombay Sitar, 5111 Fulton Dr. NW, Canton.

Well, here we are…our last Winter Walk, hosted by Sally and Derek Rance at the wonderful Blue Heron Park in Medina County! We’ll leave from the Blue Heron parking lot at 3:00pm. Food and drink will follow at Blue Heron Brewery!

Winter Walk #10 – Buckeye Woods (Medina County)
Winter Walk #10 will be at Buckeye Woods in Medina County. The hike starts at 3:00 pm on Sunday, March 9th. Dinner and Drinks to follow at On Tap Bar and Grill at Rt. 18 and Windfall Road!
2025 Winter Walk #7 – Hike and Bike Trail (Hosted by Kathy/Mike Neag)
The 7th Hike of our 2025 Winter Walk Series will be hosted by Kathy and Mike Neag. We’ll hike on the Hike and Bike Trail out of the 303 Trailhead. The hike starts at 2:00 on Sunday, February 23rd. Food and drink will follow at Veg+.
Hike Cancelled – Food / Drink at Dilly Dee’s in Northfield
Due to icy trails and a horrible weather forecast, we have decided to cancel the hike for Sunday. But…..we have our priorities straight, so we will meet at Dilly Dee’s at 4:00 pm for the ‘Food and Drinks to Follow!’
Winter Walk #6 – Sagamore Trail in Bedford MetroPark (Hosted by Bob Swidarski)
Our 2025 Winter Walk #6 will be hosted by Bob Swidarski. The hike will be the Sagamore Trail in Bedford Metro. We’ll start at 2:00pm on Sunday, February 16th. Food and Drink will be at the Winking Lizard in Macedonia.
2025 Winter Walk #4 – Lake Medina (Route 18 Entrance)
Our 2025 Winter Walk will be at Lake Medina (the Route 18 entrance!). Hopefully, it will be warmer than last year! We’ll step off at 3:00 pm on Sunday, February 2nd. Food and drinks will be at Yours Truly, right next door!
Note: We will be gathering at the Route 18 entrance that is just west of Yours Truly (close to Buehler’s).
Winter Walk #5 – Horseshoe Pond/Tree Farm Trail (Hosted by Camille and Bari Barbuto)
2025 Winter Walk #5 is hosted by Camille and Bari! We’re hiking the Horseshoe Pond Trail at the Tree Farm Area. We’ll step off at 3:00 pm on Saturday,
Feb. 8th. Wear good hiking shoes! Also, Tim is planning to bring his cross-country skis…he says it’s a great place for CC skiing! Food and Drink will follow at Winking Lizard in Peninsula!
2025 Winter Walk #3 – Firestone MetroPark (Willow Trail)
Our 2025 Winter Walk #3 will be one of Sharon’s favorites, The Willow Trail at Firestone MetroPark.
Saturday, January 18th at 2:00 pm.
Food and drink to follow at Jerzee’s at 1019 E. Turkeyfoot Rd. in Green! Join us for food, even if you choose not to hike!
