You are invited to the CVSSC’s annual spring wildflower walk.  This year’s walk will be at Medina County’s River Styx Park.  There will be a picnic before the walk starting at 12:30 pm.  BYO picnic stuff.

We should be able to see some good wildflowers.  I scouted the trail on March 20th and saw a lot of false mermaid coming up.  That is actually quite amazing.  I also saw signs of spring beauty, trout lily, and water leaf.  This park has a lot of good stuff, such as squirrel corn, Dutchman’s breeches, bloodroot, rue anemone, and blue cohosh.  The trail is only 3/4 mile long.  This will leave us time to head over to Hubbard Valley for the really big show!

Afterwards we will head to Dolce at the Strand in Wadsworth (123 Broad St.) for gelato and coffee.
